I tried Texas Brew Salsa when I went home to Houston a few months ago. It is so great that I cannot eat another salsa anymore - I used to eat "On the Border" Salsa from the grocers because it was better than most. Now it is not satisfying at all.

Please bring this salsa to Atlanta - I would love to be able to purchase it locally - it is the best!!!!!!!!!! And I am not just saying that!!!

I am originally from the Austin area and went home this summer for a visit. My sister, Mother and I went on a day trip to Fredericksburg.

My son was the salsa fan so we were just buying some authentic Texas salsas on our trip and purchased several varieties and yours was the one I loved the best! I have told everyone I know how fantastic this is, sweet and just the right spices and the roasted flavor just takes it over the top. I just honestly have never tasted anything so good. I was lucky enough to sample Texas Brew Salsa a few months ago while visiting family in San Antonio and I just got my 2nd order. I can’t get enough of it! My friends picked up your salsa on Sunday at the Whole Foods in downtown Austin. I wasn't involved in picking it up off the shelf so I'm not sure how that decision was made -- but I can tell you that I would not shut up about how much I liked it as soon as I tried some.

Crab Cakes
Texas Brew Salsa Remoulade

3 Tbsp. Texas Brew Honey Roasted Chipotle Salsa, Hot
1 lb. lump crab meat or lump claw meat (Phillips Is Best)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 egg white
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs (can substitute 12 saltine crackers, crushed)

1. Pick over the crab meat and remove any shell or cartilage. Drain any liquid.

2. Combine mayonnaise, salsa, Old Bay, parsley, mustard, egg white; Mix till smooth

3.  Add this mixture to the crab meat, be careful not to break up the lumps of crab meat

4.  Add Panko bread crumbs or crushed crackers to crab mixture, be careful not to break up lumps of crab meat

5.  Let crab cake mixture rest for 10 to 15 minutes allowing bread crumbs to absorb any liquids

6.  Form into small 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick sausage size patties, make sure edges are flat and not tapered

7.  Pan fry in peanut oil until golden brown on both sides. Do not over crowd your pan when frying. Leave enough room to turn carefully in order to avoid breaking.

Tips: To switch it up a bit, use a comparable amount of your favorite cracker to suit your own personal taste. If your crab cakes are too moist to shape into patties, add more bread crumbs or crushed crackers a little at a time until a meatloaf like consistency is achieved.

Texas Brew Salsa Remoulade

Serves 16
3 Tbsp. Texas Brew Honey Roasted Chipotle Salsa, Hot
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup chopped of celery
1/4 cup chopped green onion
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. horseradish

1.  Puree in a food processor or blender until smooth. Chill.
2.  Serve Texas Brew Crab Cake with a dollop Texas Brew Salsa Remoulade

Tips: Serve Texas Brew Salsa Remoulade in the place of cocktail sauce when serving pre-cooked and peeled shrimp. To spice it up just add 1 Tbsp. of Cajun seasoning. Can be warmed and served over stuffed mushrooms, grilled pork chops, or used as a dip.
